| | March 05, 2007 Orko Silver Continues to Hit Silver and Gold at La Preciosa
|
| VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Orko Silver Corp. (TSX.V - OK) is pleased to announce that it has received further assay results from the Phase-V diamond drilling in the "Mina La Preciosa" sector on La Preciosa Project in Durango, Mexico.
Of particular note are substantial width intercepts of the Abundancia Vein intersected in holes BP06-75 and BP06-76. Hole BP06-75 yielded a true width of 5.23 metres grading gold 0.074 g/t and silver 197.8 g/t for a silver-equivalent of 202.3 g/t. Hole BP06-76 yielded a true width of 6.00 metres grading gold 0.455 g/t and silver 217.5 g/t for a silver-equivalent of 244.8 g/t.
Hole BP06-63 hit the Abundancia Vein for 3.01 metres grading gold 0.289 g/t and silver 202.5 g/t for a silver-equivalent of 219.9 g/t. It also hit the Esperancita Vein for a true width of 2.85 metres grading gold 0.363 g/t and silver 146.4 g/t for a silver-equivalent of 168.2 g/t. Within this interval was a 0.24 m sample yielding 3.040 g/t Au and 880.0 g/t Ag for a silver-equivalent of 1,062.4 g/t.
Luz Elena Vein showed interesting values in holes BP06-67, -68 and -70. These holes increase our understanding of the geometry and positions of ore-shoots within the individual veins.
Gary Cope, President of Orko, adds, "La Preciosa continues to deliver good drilling results especially with respect to the widening of the Abundancia vein in Holes BP06-75 and BP06-76. These holes will positively impact our new Resource Estimate which we anticipate releasing in the near future. Given the success at La Preciosa along with the recently released results from the Santa Monica project, the future looks very promising for Orko Silver. Furthermore, preliminary rock and soil sampling on the San Juan project has begun."

Hole BP06-63 was drilled from the same pad as BP06-61 on La Preciosa Ridge, but at an azimuth of 020o and dip -45o in order to have a more perpendicular testing of the Esperancita Vein. The hole continued on to the Abundancia Vein, with a 45 degree oblique intercept.
